Bristol Theatre Company is thrilled to present the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical,
telling a story that revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination,
and an inspiring girl who dreams of a better life.
With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda has won 47 international awards.
Matilda is appropriate for audiences of all ages.
General admission seating. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
Tickets: $20 for adults, $18 for children, students, and seniors.
Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
Matilda was first commissioned and produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and premiered at the Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, England on 9 November 2010. It transferred to the Cambridge Theatre in the West End of London on 25 October 2011 and received its US premiere at the Shubert Theatre, Broadway, USA on 4 March 2013.
